Crocuses, often the first signs of spring in the Yukon, bring such joy and a sense of optimism after a long winter! Like an Easter egg hunt, eager hikers scour paths and hillsides to spot the lovely purple bunches. An extra special thrill when you can find the elusive pink ones!

• Painted on acid free 100% cotton rag paper, using professional artist grade pigments and mounted onto birch wood panel (dimensions: 12” x 9”)

• The painting has been protected with an archival varnish, mounted to the birch panel using an acrylic adhesive, and hand polished with two coats of wax to a soft sheen. The wax enhances the colours and emphasizes the textures of the painting so you can enjoy an up close and personal view of your painting without a glass barrier.

• Ready to hang in a black wooden floater frame.
