Golden Horn Mountain is one of my favourite subjects to paint! It can be seen from every part of the city and always makes me think of home. There are lovely paths, minutes from my home, with fabulous views of the valley and distant views of Golden Horn. I find walks in the valley to be a great place to surrender to the peace that is the Yukon.

• Painted on Arches archival 100% cotton rag paper, using professional artist grade pigments and mounted onto birch wood panel (dimensions: 10” x 8”)

• Ready to hang in a black wooden floater frame chosen to enhance the colours in the painting. (Overall dimensions: 11” x 9”)

• The painting has been protected with two coats of varnish, mounted on a birch wood panel using an acrylic adhesive, and hand waxed to a soft sheen for a polished finish. The wax protects, enhances the colours, and emphasizes the textures in the painting, so you can enjoy an up close and personal view of your painting without a glass barrier.
